The Springfield Drifters are back.
Springfield’s second season in the West Coast League opens against Port Angeles on June 2nd and the Drifters have a fun opening weekend planned at beautiful Hamlin Field.
All fans who arrive on Opening Night will receive a schedule magnet listing all 57 games, including 30 at home. In addition, all kids who wear their baseball uniform to the first game will receive a free ticket.
On Saturday, June 3rd, we celebrate #GoDucks as any University of Oregon or Lane Community College student will get free admission if they show they student ID.
Every Sunday game this year will feature free tickets for kids thanks to our sponsor, Neu Real Estate. In addition, parents will get in for half-price if they have a child with them.
When the opening homestand concludes on Sunday, June 4th, the kids who get in free will be able to participate in Touch-A-Truck as the Springfield Police Department and Eugene Springfield Fire will show off some of their fanciest vehicles for kids to inspect.
Don’t miss out on all the fun during the opening weekend of the WCL, a wood-bat league featuring some of the top college baseball players in the country. You can purchase tickets here to cheer on your Springfield Drifters.
